Terms of sale
Last updated 30 October 2026. These terms cover buying a LapVoice Pro licence. The software itself is governed by the licence agreement.
Who you are buying from
LapVoice is the seller. Payments are processed by PayPal, which handles the payment and the receipt; refunds are issued by us through PayPal. Your statement shows a PayPal charge.
Price and tax
Prices are shown in US dollars. PayPal shows the amount, and any exchange rate, before you confirm. Launch discounts are time-limited and cannot be applied after the fact.
What you receive
After payment you receive an email from hello@lapvoice.com with your licence code and activation steps, and a separate PayPal receipt. The same code works for the free preview build: enter it on the Activation page to switch on live telemetry.
Delivery is electronic and normally immediate. If the email does not arrive, check spam, then email hello@lapvoice.com with the purchase address.
The licence
You are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself. The number of computers is set by the variant you bought: one seat or three seats. The licence agreement sets out what you may and may not do.
Refunds
Within 14 days of purchase, request a refund by email. A refund deactivates the code and frees the seat. The refund policy has the details.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the download and licence service available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service. If a release introduces a serious fault, we will fix it or refund the purchase. Features may be added or changed within a major version; nothing in these terms entitles you to a specific future feature.
Acceptable use
Do not share, resell or publish your code, and do not attempt to bypass activation. Codes used in breach may be deactivated without refund.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
